Once your meat has marinated and you are ready to cook, finish off the flavor by using our Orange Pepper as your meat rub. The finished result will be mouthwatering crazy good! Although this is a perfect recipe for the Holiday season, this would also be a fabulous dish for summertime grilling and the sandwiches you could make with the leftovers would be the envy of the lunchroom.

Mulled Orange Pepper Pork

1/2 cup water
1 Tbsp Mulling Spice
1 Tbsp honey warmed
1 Tbsp lemon zest
2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 pork tenderloins silver skin removed  or 6 thick-cut pork chops
2-4 tsp Orange Pepper

Simmer apple juice, water & mulling spice for 20 minutes, and allow to cool. then add honey, lemon, and sugar.

Place pork in large zip lock bag. Pour marinade in bag and seal getting as much air out of the bag as possible. Place bag in a container allowing the meat to lay flat for best results. Refrigerate for 24 hours tuning bag over after 12 hours.

Just before cooking meat sub on Orange Pepper and then cook & enjoy!

We were inspired to create this recipe from one we found on Caroleeskitchen, and this delish pic was the original inspiration!
