In the old days Sesame Seeds – White were thought to possess special powers- thus the phrase “Open Sesame”! They add a bit of crunch to toppings, crusts. They can be sprinkled on breads and buns for texture and adornment.



Sesame Seed – White is used extensively in baking. Toasting helps bring out the nutty flavor. Baked in rolls, breads and buns. Good in cookies, pie fillings and cakes. Italian Anise Cookies are rolled in sesame seeds. Also availabe Black. Salt free.
